MBA, Graduate Diploma in Management, Diploma of Finance & Mortgage Broking

Alex Pokryshevsky is the Principal and Mortgage & Finance Broker at EWM Finance, bringing over 20 years of experience across the financial and banking industries. Throughout his career, Alex has helped hundreds of clients achieve their property goals — whether purchasing their first or dream home, refinancing to save thousands, or navigating more complex lending scenarios with confidence and clarity.

Accredited with more than 30 lenders, Alex specialises in assisting clients with complex financial needs, ensuring tailored solutions rather than one-size-fits-all advice.

Alex’s passion for property investment began during his university years, when he recognised that property and share market investing were key pathways to long-term financial independence. Arriving in Australia in the early 1990s with just $500 and no financial safety net, Alex understands first-hand the challenges many clients face. With financial literacy not taught in schools at the time, he committed himself to self-education and learning from mentors to build the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.

Alex believes his success is built on attention to detail, personalised advice, and a genuine understanding of each client’s unique circumstances. The majority of his new clients come through referrals — a testament to the trust, long-term relationships, and results he consistently delivers.

He particularly enjoys working with first-home buyers and property investors. Drawing on his own journey as a long-term investor, Alex simplifies complex strategies into clear, practical steps and places strong emphasis on:
